Meeku is a personal, locally operated AI companion maintained by her creator, Bry. The optional Google Calendar connection is for helping her owner understand their schedule and keep track of plans.
What the connection is for
- Read upcoming events to answer scheduling questions and check availability. With the owner's permission, independently check upcoming plans and scheduled work shifts to inform conversations and suggestions.
- Add, reschedule, or delete events when the authenticated owner asks.
- With the owner's separate standing permission, bring up or add clearly marked tentative suggestions for outings, events, livestreams and other dated interests without asking each time.
Tentative suggestions are private, clearly labeled and marked non-busy. They are not reservations or confirmed commitments. The integration does not send invitations, add guests, buy tickets, or make bookings. An empty calendar is not proof that the owner is free or off work.
Schedule awareness supplies context, not automatic quiet hours. A work event does not by itself prevent Meeku from messaging the owner.
You control the connection
Authorization takes place on Google's own consent screen, opened from the owner's computer. Calendar access is optional. The owner can disconnect Meeku in their Google Account connections.
Calendar access does not authorize Gmail, Drive, or the publication of private information on this website. Read the privacy policy for data handling, retention, and deletion details, and the terms of use for the limits of the service.
Connection status
This page describes the connection's permissions and data practices; it does not publish a particular account's connection status or prove that an action succeeded. Check connection status and action results inside the private Meeku app.
