Privacy policy
This policy covers Meeku's optional Google Calendar connection and these public information pages. Meeku is a personal-use application, not an open public service. Calendar authorization is separate from visiting this site.
Information accessed
When the owner authorizes Calendar access, Meeku can receive event titles, descriptions, dates, times, time zones, locations, status, event identifiers, and organizer or attendee information contained in returned events. Google also supplies access credentials that allow the app to make authorized API requests.
The Calendar connection does not request access to Gmail messages, Drive files, or the owner's Google password. Meeku's other separately configured features are not authorized by Calendar consent.
Why the information is used
Calendar information is used to answer schedule questions, check availability, and carry out requested event changes. If the owner enables it, Meeku may independently check upcoming events and scheduled work shifts to inform conversations, suggest relevant outings, events or livestreams and add tentative plans. Schedule awareness does not automatically create quiet hours. Existing events are not rescheduled or deleted autonomously. Calendar data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI models.
Meeku's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs must follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Processing and sharing
The app runs on the maintainer's computers. Google processes authorized Calendar requests and stores the calendar events. Relevant event information may enter Meeku's AI context to produce a scheduling answer.
If an answer is sent through Discord, its contents are processed and retained by Discord and are visible to people who can access that conversation. Use a private conversation for sensitive scheduling. This public website does not receive Calendar credentials, event data, or private chat transcripts.
Calendar data must not be sent to other services for unrelated purposes. Enabling a new external processing service or a materially different use requires an updated disclosure and the owner's consent.
Storage, security, and retention
OAuth credentials are stored in a local configuration file, excluded from the public website and source publication. Google requests use HTTPS. Local access protection depends on the security of the maintainer's computer; this policy does not claim that the credential file is separately encrypted.
Event details included in conversations can remain in local transcripts, memories, operational records, and backups. There is no promised automatic deletion period. Records are retained until removed by the maintainer; existing backup copies may require separate cleanup. Google and Discord apply their own retention practices to information stored with them.
Disconnecting and deleting information
- Remove Meeku's access in Google Account connections to stop further authorized Calendar access.
- Ask the maintainer to remove local Calendar credentials and retained Calendar-related records, including applicable backups. Revoking Google access alone does not erase those copies.
- Remove unwanted events in Google Calendar and any messages in Discord separately. Disconnecting Meeku does not automatically delete events already created.
Website visitors
These information pages have no sign-in form, advertising, analytics script, or Calendar API connection. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process ordinary request data, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Contact and changes
For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact Bry through your existing private contact with the maintainer or the support email on Meeku's Google consent screen. Material changes to Calendar data use require an updated policy and renewed consent before that new use begins.
